COVID-19の感染拡大防止のための外出自粛生活に笑いを届けるために、ディズニー・アニメーション・スタジオが制作したオラフの新作短編シリーズです。監督はハイラム・オズモンド、オラフの声はジョシュ・ギャッド。制作・収録のすべてが在宅で行われました。
同スタジオのYouTubeチャンネル、Facebook、Twitter、インスタグラムなどの公式アカウントのほか、ディズニー・マジック・モーメンツのポータルサイト、ジョシュ・ギャッドのTwitterとインスタグラムで配信されます。(YouTubeの映像には、字幕がついています。)

オラフが生まれるまで
2020年4月14日にD23がオズモンド監督へのインタビューをアップしてくれました。英語なので、google翻訳さんの助力が必要ですが一読の価値はあるかと。
元々、オズモンド監督は数か月前にオラフのショートシリーズ作成を売り込んでいたそうです。そして、こんな状況になったからこそオラフが必要とされていると感じて、製作が決定したそうです。
